PhD in planetary science, University of New Mexico

Dr. Váci’s research focuses on magmatism on Mars, the Moon, and small bodies such as the asteroid Vesta by studying the petrology and geochemistry of meteorites. He also conducts petrological experiments to replicate the conditions of magmatic differentiation and late-stage processes in the early solar system.
