2024 Graduate Student Appreciation Week

2024 Graduate Student Appreciation Week

The Office of Graduate Studies, in collaboration with campus partners, will host a series of activities April 1-5 to acknowledge and celebrate graduate students.

To express appreciation for graduate students and their contributions to Washington University, the Office of Graduate Studies (OGS) will host a Graduate Student Appreciation Week April 1-5. This series of activities will coincide with National Graduate & Professional Student Appreciation Week, established by the NAGPS in 1993.

During Graduate Student Appreciation Week, students can socialize and unwind with Arts & Sciences leadership, campus partners, and other students. The Graduate Center and DBBS will also be hosting a variety of events to celebrate Graduate and Professional Students.

“Graduate students are a vital part of the research and creative practice taking place at the university,” said Sophia E. Hayes, vice dean of graduate education. "While our team in OGS works to find ways to celebrate our graduate students every day, this is a dedicated chance for us to express our gratitude with a week-long celebration with a variety of events.”

Arts & Sciences graduate students can attend as many activities as their schedules allow. Please note that some events require an RSVP.
