Survey of principles that govern the global hydrologic cycle, including precipitation, evapotranspiration, and the flow of water in river and groundwater systems. Basic equations of mass transfer, fluid flow, dynamics, and the characteristics of drainage basins, rivers, floods, and aquifers.Course has an emphasis on methods of data analysis and introductory hydrologic modeling in MATLAB.
