8th Annual Midwest Geobiology Symposium

The annual conference, started by Professors Alex Bradley and David Fike in 2012, is held each year at a different institution in the Midwest and brings together geobiologists, geochemists, and scientists from affiliated disciplines for research presentations and social engagement. The conference will begin with an evening reception on Friday, September 20, at 6pm, to be followed by a full day of talks and posters on Saturday, September 21. Dinner on Friday will be provided to all conference registrants, as well as breakfast, lunch, and several coffee breaks on Saturday. You will also receive a program booklet with presentation abstracts and a complimentary meeting souvenir.

If you would like to present your research, please submit an abstract for consideration! Anybody may submit an abstract for presentation, although oral presentation slots are limited. Abstract submission deadline: Sunday, September 1st, 11:59pm.

You may also register to attend without presenting. There is no cost to attend, but we ask that you please register to attend by this coming Sunday, September 1st at 11:59pm.

If you have any questions about the conference, including registration, abstract submission, or logistics, please explore our website or send an email to info@midwestgeobiology.org.
