Minor in Earth and Planetary Sciences

A minor in Earth and Planetary Sciences consists of at least 16 units of EPS courses, including EPSc 201 (Earth and the Environment), 352 (Earth Materials) and 353 (Earth Forces). At least one additional EPS course numbered 300 or above, not including EPSc 390 and EPSc 490 (Independent Study), is required.
A faculty advisor will be assigned to each student at the time that the minor is declared. Minor programs must be approved by the student's minor advisor. The grades and performance policy for EPS major applies to all coursework required for the EPS minor program. The Department requirements also meet those for a minor as defined by the College of Arts and Sciences.
